Torrevieja, Spain - 21/12/17 -> 22/12/17

An older tourist with a know cardiac decompensation had to stay in the hospital for a week with a cardiac insufficiency and chronic renal insufficiency . Las Palmas, Spain - 16/12/17 -> 17/12/17

A Belgian tourist got admitted in Maspalomas on Dec 4 for respiratory failure due to a bronchopneumonia and an acute heart failure. After two weeks of hospitalisation the patient was hemodynamic stable and fit to fly. Our nurse escorted her back to the home address.

Venic, Italy, 07/12/17 -> 08/12/17

One of our doctors went on misison on 07/12 to repatriate a French patient. The patient was brought to the ER after a cardiovascular arrest with prolonged resuscitation. Malaga, Spain - 03/12/17 -> 04/12/17

​On 03/12 wen send out our IC nurse to Spain to repatriate a 72 years old lady who was admitted on 24/11 because of exacerbationof a known COPD due to  respiratory tract infection. With the help of our POC (Personal Oxygen Concentrator) we repatriated the patient on a commercial plane and brought her to a Universitary Hospital in Belgium.

Pattaya, Thailand - 30/11/17 -> 02/12/17

On 18 November a Belgian lady who was walking in Pattaya developed progressive chest pain with radiation and palpitation. After a coronary angiogram she was diagnosed with a 99% stenosis of the mid LCx. Porto, Portugal - 23/11/17 -> 24/11/17

​An unfortunate fall and our patient was brought to the ER with a proximal fracture of the left humerus. Becasue of a strike in Portugal the Belgian travel assistance decided to bring him back as soon as possible on a commercial plane. Our IC-nurse escorted the patient and brought him to a hospital in Brussels to be scheduled for operation.

Nice, France - 10/11/17 -> 11/11/17

One of our skilled nurses brought back a patient from Nice on 11/11 by a commercial plane. The patient was admitted in a local hospital with a peri-anal abces which was treated with a surgical incision and drainage. During the repatriation our nurse continued the medication therapy and brought the patient pain free to his home in Belgium.
