Naples, Italy - 04/10/17 -> 05/10/17

A tourist on holiday in Napels was admitted in the ICU with a heavy pneumonia. Sedated and ventilated he stayed several days under heavy AB treatment. After two week of hospitalisation he was fit to fly and to be repatriated by our IC nurse. With the help of O2, on board the commercial airplane, he was transferred back home.

Alicante, Spain - 05/10/17

​On the 5th of October we did a scoop and run on the airport of Alicante. Our IC nurse met the patient in the airport of Alicante and repatriated her immediately back to Belgium. The patient had an wrist fracture L and a ankle fracture L. We repatriated her on a commercial plane with an extra seat. Nice job, happy patient.

Benidorm, Spain - 07/08/17 -> 08/08/17

​Benidorm, the city of the skyscrapers and a popular place for Belgian tourists.Our tourist was admitted because of an acute gastro enteritis with dehydration and acute renal failure. Our IC nurse was send to bring back the patient on a commerical plane.

Foligno, Italy - 31/07/17 -> 01/08/17

Our patient was admitted on the 22nd of Juyly with a pulmonary embolism due to a DVT. With a fast diagnosis and some oral anticoagulation therapy, our patient recovered fast and was fit to fly a week later. Our IC nurse brought her back an a commercial airplane.

​A young male tourist had to be admitted in a local hospital in Rhodos due to shortness of breath and a swollen L leg. An echo doppler showed a DVT L due to massive pulmonary embolisms. ​Our patient got admitted in Alicante due to a dyspnoea due to an atelectasis L lung. After one week of hospitalisation he was ready to be repatriated.
