Benalmadena, Spain - 13/03/17 -> 14/03/17

During his winter break in Spain, our Belgian patient had to attend the hospital becasue of a pneumonia. He was admitted on 04/03 and treated succesfully with antibiotics but still dependent on oxygen. We repatriated the patient on 14/03 with oxygen in standby during the flight. Our ambulance team brought him to a local hospital.

Tenerife, Spain - 06/02/17 -> 07/02/17

​During his winter stay, our patient had to be admitted in Hospiten Sur in Tenerife because of an exacerbation of his known COPD due to a pneumonia. Alcudia, Spain - 19/10/16 -> 20/10/16

Our Belgian patient was brought to the ER in Mallorca because of pneumonia with bronchospasmes. After a treatment with antibiotics her saturation improved and she was declared fit to fly. Our IC-nurse escorted the patient home. Because of the pneumonia we took also the POC (Personal Oxygen Concentrator) with us during the flight.
