Malaga, Spain - 17/05/17 -> 18/05/17

Our patient was brought to the ER after two days of dyspnoe and orthopnoe. The echo doppler, ECG and blood tests showed no cardio abnormalities. Lima, Peru - 08/06/17 -> 10/06/17

An elderly patient resided in Lima as a cleric in a congregation. A known Alzheimer disease in combination with an urinary infection provoked a detoration of his known Alzheimer disease. With the help of another cleric and our IC nurse we managed to bring the father back on a commercial plane to a monastery in France.

Izmir, Turkey - 02/04/17 -> 03/04/17

Visiting her family in Izmir, our patient had to be admitted in a local hospital due to an exacerbation of a known multiple sclerosis. She was treated with corticoïds with favorable results. After two weeks of hospitalisation she was fit enough to take a commercial plane with the help of our IC-nurse to continue her treatment in Belgium.

Benalmadena, Spain - 13/03/17 -> 14/03/17

During his winter break in Spain, our Belgian patient had to attend the hospital becasue of a pneumonia. He was admitted on 04/03 and treated succesfully with antibiotics but still dependent on oxygen. We repatriated the patient on 14/03 with oxygen in standby during the flight. Our ambulance team brought him to a local hospital.

Torrevieja, Spain - 01/03/17 -> 02/03/17

​Due to a fall in an empty pool, our patient was admitted in the hospital in Alicante with a craniocerebral trauma. CT-scan showed a full fracture with sphenoidal hemosinus and a mild SAB on Feb 20. Torrevieja, Spain - 17/02/17 -> 18/02/17

​Our patient got admitted in Alicante due to a dyspnoea due to an atelectasis L lung. After one week of hospitalisation he was ready to be repatriated. Our IC nurse escorted him on a commercial flight. Due to the need of oxygen during the repatriation we used our Personal Oxygen Concentrator to keep him saturated during the day. Benidorm, Spain - 16/02/17 -> 17/02/17

Having a winter stay, our patient broke his humerus during his holiday. Our IC-nurse brought him safely to a Belgian hospital to be scheduled for an operation. During the repatriation we used an extra seat for the comfort of the patient.

Marrakech, Morocco - 10/02/17 -> 11/02/17

A Moroccon older lady was admitted in Marrakech due to an acute myocardial infarction on the 24th of January. The patient was treated with an angioplasty on January 28 and was fit to fly in a sitting position with the help of a wheelchair assist and a our ICU nurse. As her family lives in Belgium, she was repatriated on the 11th back home.

​One of our Belgian top sporters got injured during an internship in France. Due to the surgical need he was repatriated as soon as possible with our new Mercedes V-class ambulance. Our doctor, specialised in emergency care, escorted the patient during the trip to hospital in Brussels.

Davos, Switzerland - 09/02/17 -> 10/02/17

Davos, a beautiful ski location. But with a fracture of a R tibia and a R fibula it is time to head back home. Our ambulance crew brought the patient a visit on the 09th and drove back home the next day. Nice job boys.
