Alcudia, Spain - 19/10/16 -> 20/10/16

Our Belgian patient was brought to the ER in Mallorca because of pneumonia with bronchospasmes. After a treatment with antibiotics her saturation improved and she was declared fit to fly. Our IC-nurse escorted the patient home. Because of the pneumonia we took also the POC (Personal Oxygen Concentrator) with us during the flight.

Almeria, Spain - 16/10/16 -> 17/10/16

Our patient was admitted in Almeria on 02/10 with retrosterrnal pain and dyspnea. The diagnosis after a coronarography was a decompensatio cordis with no signs of cardiac ischemia. Barcelona, Spain - 15/10/16 -> 16/10/16

Visiting the beautiful city of Barcelona our unfortunate patient fell down. In the hospital he was diagnosed with a subcapital fracture of the humerus. He received a conservative treatment with immobilisation by a sling. Our nurse helped him back on a commercial plane and brought him safe and well home.

Périgueux, France - 12/10/16 -> 13/10/16

Our patient was hospitalized after a CVA right on 05/10. After a short recovery with the help of thrombolytic therapy she was able to be transferred back to Belgium on 13/10. Our ambulance team, with the help of a nurse, brought her and her husband safely back to a local hospital in Belgium. Job well done !

Presheva, Serbia - 10/10/16 -> 11/10/16

​On 10/09 our patient adressed herself to a local hospital with a CVA with R hemiparesis. Because of the IATA restrictions we were only able to repatriate her back on 11/10/16 after some revalidation. Our nurse gave her the necessary medication during the flight back and monitored her parameters to ensure a safe trip.

A vacation in Corsico led to the repatriation of a 40 year old male. After a wrong movement he had to go to the hospital with an acute lumbosciatalgia due to a discus hernia L5-S1. Mieres, Spain - 27/09/16 -> 28/09/16

Our patient presented herself on 10/09 in the local hospital of Mieres with a disc protusion L5-S1. Despite sedation it was impossible to return home without any medical assistance. Our IC nurse helped our patient with a wheelchair assist to return home.

24/09/16 -> 25/09/16 - Rabat, Morocco

On the 25th of September our IC nurse was sent to Rabat, Morocco to escort an pregnant lady with a trophoblastic dehiscense with a complete resporption after a normal pregancy of 13 weeks. The patient and her family was brought back home on a commercial flight to Brussels.
